I’m Julia! Nice to Meet You.

I’M an artist, Performer, and writer who finds value in exploring a wide variety of mediums and forms, and in learning how those forms feed into each other in surprising ways. Fueled by Experimentation and playfulness, I’ve Been lucky Enough to have worked with several theatre companies in Austin as a performer and Collaborator – including The Filigree Theatre, Dirty Gold Theatre, and Bottle Alley Theatre Company. I’ve also produced independent Theatre projects solo and with friends.

I use and explore many different Methods of art, such as video, photography, found objects, performance, sound, and digital software, in order to create my works. I’m always open to and seeking new practices and mediums.

Many thingS INFLUENCE ME, but especially: the people around me, the people far away from me, the inner lives of objects, networks, brain activity, how environments take on meaning, risks, misunderstandings, and secrets.
